Last week, the entire world had the chance of enjoying the new HTC 10, one of its major rivals is Note 5, which was launched last year in August, but let’s see some main strengths of each of them!
If we talk about design, we have to mention that HTC 10 has a metal design available in silver, gold, red and gray, with only 161 grams, it measures 145.9×71.9x9mm. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a design similar to Galaxy S6. It has a metallic frame caught between glass panels. It weighs 171 grams and it measures 153.2×76.1×7.6mm. You can choose between white, black, gold or silver.
HTC 10 comes together with Snapdragon 820 SoC, an extremely powerful chipset from Qualcomm, and it has 4GB RAM available, you can choose between 32 or 64GB storage and you can also add a microSD card, but no more than 2TB. Galaxy Note 5 has a Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC chipset and also 4GB RAM. You can’t add a microSD card, but you can choose between storage options like 32, 64 or 128GB.
If we talk about battery and price, you have to know that the HTC 10 comes with a 3000mAh battery, which is the same as the Note’s. However, the Note allows wireless charging, which is a bonus, HTC starts from $699, but for the Galaxy Note you can have a lower price for the 32 GB version: $550, the 64 one costs $729, and the 128GB one $899. These are the prices you can find on Amazon, all in all, both are excellent phones, but it just depends on your own preferences and options.
