Amid the flurry of exciting Final Fantasy XV announcements at the Uncovered reveal event, Square Enix unveiled Justice Monsters Five.
Justice Monsters Five is a mini-game found within Final Fantasy XV. It is essentially a pinball game, but one that incorporates RPG elements as well. While past mini-games have mostly been unavailable outside of the games they appear in, Square Enix also announced that Justice Monsters Five would receive a standalone mobile release.
Thanks to PreLaunch.me, we now know when this mini-game will be available… for some users. According to the latest news, the Android version of Justice Monsters Five is coming out in a week! That’s right, next Monday, April 25, Justice Monsters Five will be playable on Android devices in the following areas:
USA, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland, Portugal, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
PreLaunch.me is also having a launch party for the game with a special prize drawing. You can RSVP on the announcement page.
However, iOS players won’t get to enjoy Justice Monsters Five quite so soon. According to the PreLaunch.me page for the iOS version, its release date has yet to be determined because they need to ensure it runs well.
This is disappointing news for iOS players, but exciting for Android users. And with the Android version out in just a week, it probably won’t be too long before the iOS game follows.
Of course, it’s not the same as getting to play Final Fantasy XV, but it will still be fun to play its mini-game in advance and see what it is like. After all, the Final Fantasy series has seen some stellar mini-games in the past, from Triple Triad to Blitzball. Time will tell if Justice Monsters Five proves as popular.
Remember, even if you don’t want the free-to-play mobile release of Justice Monsters Five, you’ll still be able to play it within Final Fantasy XV when the game launches on September 30. Do you plan to try the mini-game on its own, or will you simply wait for Final Fantasy XV to come out? Let us know in the comments.
