If you are a fan of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, then you should know that the Pokemon Company has officially announced that this popular game will be released for Android Tablets.
We remind you that Pokemon Trading Card Game has been previously available only for iPad, but now, the Android Tablets owners can test out the game out as it is currently available in Open Beta. We’re not sure when the stable version of this game will be released for Android, but we’re pretty sure that it will not take long until the developers will gather enough information and will fix all the bugs and issues.
The game also ties into the official Pokemon website and it allows the players to virtually collect Pokemon cards and battle fellow trainers. It is good to know that the game is currently working on both iPads and Android tablets, but it’s not (yet) available for smaller devices. It is good to know that the Pokemon Trading Card game has been released back in 1996, but it was also introduced in the US two years later.
Wizards of the Coast, the publisher of Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons has originally produced the cards, but in 2003 the Pokemon Company has took over the production and distribution of them. Until now, there are over 60 sets of Pokemon Cards, each of them containing different versions of over 700 Pokemon, which are currently found in the video game.
The Pokemon Trading Card video game was released back in 2011 and it allows the players to collect cards and battle with other players. In addition, the players will be able to purchase cards with the points they accumulate via battling. They can also use QR codes found in the card packs purchased in stores.
