In a previous WhatsApp BETA version, we’ve told you that you are able to send Excel, PowerPoint and Word files. However, it seems that the new BETA version 2.16.30 of the application for Android devices now allows you to send even more document formats such as RTF and CSV. However, there is no news regarding the feature that will finally allow you to send videos and photos uncompressed. This upcoming feature will make sure that your photos and videos will not lose their quality when you send them over the WhatsApp application.
It is good to know that the new WhatsApp version 2.16.30’s installation file has been decreased with 3KB, it has over 300 modified files and a file has been deleted. Most of the files that have been modified are related to our conversations.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any news regarding the Video Calling feature, that’s expected to be released soon for the WhatsApp application. However, it is good to know that the developers haven’t confirmed the feature yet, so we’re not sure if all the rumors about it are true.
