A new WhatsApp BETA version has been released for Android devices and today we’re going to talk about it. The new version of this application is 2.16.28 and it doesn’t bring big changes or new features, but we can clearly say that a good amount of files have been modified, which shows that the developers have worked on fixing some bugs and improving the application’s performance and stability.
As we’ve told you above, the WhatsApp 2.16.28 APK (installation) file comes with many changes, and we can see that over 270 files have been modified, most of them being related to the functions in the conversations along with other function related to the views of our contacts, but we didn’t notice any changes to the interface. The APK file has also been increased with only 6KB, which clearly shows that no new features have been added.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any news regarding the Video Calling feature or if the rumors about this feature are true. Hopefully, WhatsApp will come with an official announcement for the addition of this feature in the upcoming weeks.
