It’s been several months since the release of update 0.14.0 for Minecraft Pocket Edition, and fans are on the lookout for potential hints on what the next huge update is going to be. Shortly after the last patch’s release, the developer confirmed Minecraft Pocket Edition Update 0.15.0. The only thing not known is what the release date is. And, this information is still not confirmed.
Minecraft Pocket Edition developers have released some details about the patch, and got input from Twitter followers on what needs to be added. While no promises have been made about fans getting what they want in the update, an overwhelming number of fans want multi-player support and the bringing back of Minecraft Realms to the Pocket Edition.
As noted via a Twitter post, the update should include Resource Packs to Minecraft Pocket Edition. Resource Packs, which are an upgrade version for Texture Packs. These packs alter models and in-game animation and include new music. They let players customize the game to their needs without changing the game code.
There was a suggestion that additional graphics options would soon be available, and it was confirmed that an Anti-Aliasing option would be available. The lag problem that came with the Animated Water was dealt with, and turning it off is no longer available with the latest update.
The update may have some new blocks, such as Pistons and Sticky Pistons that will offer a version exclusive animals where the piston arm is thicker at the bottom. There’s a suggestion that additional Redstone-related blocks will be offered. While this has been referenced, there’s been no official word on it.
The update may include Raw Mutton, which is dropped when Sheep is killed. It would be safe to say that Cooked Mutton would be included with it. The team may also be working on NPCs.
There’s nothing official as of this moment. However, fans hops for additional biomes, blocks and versions exclusive content.
The 0.15.0 Minecraft Pocket Edition is likely to be a huge update for the game.
