As a game that mimics real life, The Sims 4 is expected to have everything and anything that exists in people’s lives in the real world. So, when players notice missing game features, most of them are quick to point them out and voice their disappointment over the oversight. Game makers are quick to address users’ concerns, but they still find something to comment about. Some asked for swimming pools, but they weren’t too happy when the swimming pools were added and the toddlers were not. Apparently, they are the missing element in their Sims family lives.



The good news is game developers Maxis and EA Games tirelessly accommodate users’ needs, as a means to improve user experience. Early this year. The Sims 4 might receive restaurants and markets through the DLC patch that was to be released last March. And the latest addition of all the series of planned additions is pets. The Sims 4 will soon have pets, although it is unclear as to when exactly the feature will be added or on which expansion pack.

Since 2014, The Sims 4 has already received 2 expansion packs, 2 content adding game packs, and 6 item filled stuff packs. 3 months into the year, fans are still waiting for the next release of expansion pack or stuff pack.

Reports has it that the expansion pack on the docket The Sims 4: Pets will allow users to create and adopt a pet. And like real-life pets, players can also build a relationship with their pets and make loyal companions out of them. What better way to make these pets more realistic than to give them varied personalities?

What makes the news both exciting and disappointing, however, is that several expansion packs survey have already been released since October 2014.

  • The Sims 4: Find Love
  • The Sims 4: Vacation
  • The Sims 4: Get Real

All these potential expansion packs may have added a new interactivity to the game, such as dating app and romantic getaways, vacation worlds, and vehicles complete with a mechanic career. So far, only The Sims 4: Get to Work made it into the game, 5 months after a survey was conducted about a potential expansion, including active careers.

This leaves people wondering if The Sims 4: Pets will ever be released. One thing is for sure, Maxis and EA Games will make an announcement about the game’s next content. We all just have to wait and see.
