If you are still using OnePlus One, prepare for some very good news! The developers have prepared the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow for it soon!

One of the founders of OnePlus, Carl Pei, posted this Wednesday on Twitter and announced the good news. However, he did not let us know an exact date for this release, but all we know is that it’s happening soon.

Moreover, the company promised that Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be available as an update for other recent smartphones too. Those who use OnePlus 2 have the possibility of trying out Oxygen OS 3.0, the beta version, which is also based on the Marshmallow OS. As it seems, it has some bugs until now, but the users say it’s pretty much solid.

The new system has some interesting new additions, like Google Now on tap, Doze if you want to save some battery life, a more detailed permission control over apps and more. Google said they are already testing another future release, Android N, but there is no other information regarding a certain date for this.
