New details about Bioware’s upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter game are coming to surface, adding more pieces to the jigsaw puzzle. And the latest leaks are related to the gameplay and in a 5-second video coming from a developer working on the game, which is assumed to be from late 2014, and which was posted on NeoGaf, it was discovered a new addition: a jetpack.
This doesn’t mean that Bioware will bring this feature. Maybe it was in testing, but without a doubt, the developers have worked hard on the effects and it really feels like the game has progressed and until the final release, we’re betting that more leaks will appear and will give us more information about this sci-fi RPG sequel.
In a marketing survey that showed up a few days ago, Bioware has accidentally slipped the plot in the upcoming game: “Mass Effect: Andromeda takes players to the Andromeda galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way, where players will lead the fight for a new home in hostile territory – where WE are the aliens – opposed by a deadly indigenous race bent on stopping us.” So, the survival of humanity in the Andromeda galaxy will depend on the gamers who will play as the leader of a squad of military-trained experts.
From the primitive build of Mass Effect: Andromeda, it’s easy to draw the conclusion that humans don’t come in peace, but they’re perceived more like evil invaders. However, the footage uploaded by Taker34 could be an April Fool’s joke, although it was immediately taken down from YouTube after EA filed a copyright claim against it.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected to be released in 2017, exactly five years later after the arrival of Mass Effect 3, which can be played on Microsoft Windows PCs, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U consoles.
