We’re presenting you two smartphones that have been released in the same month – April, in 2015: the LG G4 and Xiaomi Mi 4i have. They’re very different and in case you’re interested in purchasing any of them, then we’ll tell you more about their specs. Based on your needs, you’ll pick the best device.
The LG G4 measures 148.9×76.1×9.8 and weights 155 grams. If you don’t like the plastic cover with a 3D diamond pattern, then you can opt for the leather version, which has stitches running down the middle of the back and it’s available in three colors: black, red and brown. The other model comes in colors such as Grey (metallic), White and Gold. The Xiaomi Mi 4i measures 138.1×69.6×7.8mm and weights 130 grams, but its design is simpler, featuring only a flat plastic back which is available in Dark Gray, Black, White, Yellow, Blue and Pink.
The LG G4 has an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 538 ppi. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 4i comes with a smaller IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The LG G4 has a newer Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset supporting an hexa-core processor formed from a dual-core Cortex A57 CPU clocked at 1.82GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.44GHz, which is backed by an Adreno 418 graphics card and 3GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 4i has a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset with an octa-core processor formed from a Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 2GB of RAM.
The LG G4 has been released with an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 128GB. The Xiaomi Mi 4i comes in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 32GB, but it doesn’t offer a card slot for storage expansion.
The LG G4 sports a primary camera of 16MP (found on the rear side of the handset) and its features include laser autofocus, LED flash, OIS, geo-tagging, HDR, touch focus, face detection, while the secondary camera is 8MP (located on the front side of the smartphone). The Xiaomi Mi 4i has a primary camera of 13MP with autofocus, dual-LED flash, face detection, panorama, HDR, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The LG G4 has a removable battery of 3000 mAh, which should offer up to 20 hours of talk time over 3G, with 15 hours less than the non-removable 3120 mAh battery of the Xiaomi Mi 4i.
