Launched in January 2015, Xiaomi Mi Note phablet is likely to soon have a successor. Equipped with dual-edge curved display on both sides, 3D touch technology and a faster version of Snapdragon 820 chipset, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 gets into the short list of high-end phones based on Android.

According to still unconfirmed information, it kept the diagonal of 5.7″ used to the current model. In addition, 3D Touch technology will allow interpretation of touch interface controls applied taking into account the strength to push.

As for configuration details, the new Xiaomi Mi Note would equip 2 Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 823 chipset, with increased operating frequency, 4GB RAM, but there could also be a version with 6GB. In the storage options include 32/64/128GB internal memory, but cannot be excluded that there can be a variant with 256GB memory, all these are only rumors for now.

The camera equipped with optical stabilization is provided with a Sony IMX298 sensor, providing instant 16MP resolution and function of 4K shooting.

All this will be supported by a 3600 mAh battery, compatible with QuickCharge 2.0. Moreover, the phone will ship with an AC adapter capable of delivering up to 18W of power through the USB Type-C cable, significantly shortening the charghing time.

According to rumors, it will support HD resolution, the most interesting aspect, as expected, is the price/quality ratio. Thus, the device would receive much better specs than the iPhone SE, and a lower price.

Presented in a metal casing, with a 16MP main camera and a 5MP secondary one, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will start at the reasonable price of $460.
