Currently, WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile messaging applications in the world. The application has been purchased by Facebook for 22 billion dollars back in October 2014 and since then, we’ve seen many changes that have been added by the developers and most of them have been received very well by the users.
The application it continuously being improved and this is confirmed by all the new updates that are being released every now and then. Today we’re going to talk about a new WhatsApp update that has been released for iPhone devices.
There are rumors which say that a Video Calling feature will soon be added the WhatsApp application, which it will most likely be available only for Android, iOS, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 10 Mobile.
However, this has not been confirmed yet by the developers, but in order to keep up the pace with other mobile messaging applications, they are somehow forced to bring Video Calling to WhatsApp. We remind you that when the developers have released the Voice Calling feature a year ago, they’ve brought it to Android and later to iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry 10.
The new WhatsApp update of this application for iOS comes with a minor update, which means that the developers have fixed only a few bugs and issues, without adding any new features. However, it seems that the developers have hidden the option to export the chat, which allowed us to send all the content inside a chat window to a notes application. The developers will most likely enable it back soon enough, as they’ve probably disabled it due to a bug.
The WhatsApp 2.12.17 can be downloaded from the App Store, but if you find any issues or bugs, please leave us a comment.
