If you are one of those guys who are looking for the best deals when it comes to digital content, then you should know that Google has just started an offer of a 75% discount on movie rentals via the Google Play Store.

Keep in mind that the promotion is available for one movie rental and it will apply the discount to the listed prices on the official Android store. Keep in mind the offer will be available only for a limited time (until April 28), which means that the users will have more than a month to decide which movie they want to rent at a 75% discount.

In addition, it seems that there is no restriction for the movies that the discount can be applied to, which means that new movies such as Batman vs. Superman, The Revenant and others can be chosen.

It seems that Google is trying something else with these kinds of discounts. We remind you that, before, Google was offering movie rental promotions only to a pre-selected list of movies. Keep in mind that Google Play will still offer suggestions with the current offer, but the discount will apply to any movie that can be rented by the users. However, if a movie doesn’t have the rental option, the users will not be able to rent it and instead they will need to pay a full price for it in order to purchase it.

The discount will only be applied for the customers from France, Germany, Great Britain, South Korea, Canada, United States, Australia and Japan. Once you will tap on renting a movie option, a pop-up will appear and it will tell you that you can apply your rental reward at checkout. The price for most of the HD movies rentals is about 5 dollars, while for the SD ones you will need to pay around 4 dollars, but after applying the discount, you will pay only 1.25 dollars for an HD movie rental and 1 dollar for a SD movie rental.
