The Pokémon Company along with the developer Niantic have revealed some new gameplay details for the upcoming Pokémon Go game, which will surely be played by lots of players once it will be released.

According to Newzoo, a market research firm, the mobile game business was worth almost 40 billion dollars back in 2015. The Pokémon franchise earns about 1.5 billion dollars a year and we’re pretty sure that with the release of Pokémon Go, their income will go higher than ever.

According to the Pokémon Company and Niantic, in the upcoming Pokémon Go game, the players from all over the world will be able to explore their surroundings in order to find and catch wild Pokémons that are hiding in the “real world”. It is good to know that some Pokémons will appear only in their native environments. With other words, a water-type Pokémon will always appear near oceans and lakes.

Once you are near a Pokémon, you will be able to catch it using your smartphone’s touchscreen to throw a Poké Ball. Keep in mind that Poké Balls, along other special items, can be found in the PokéStops, which are located in places such as: historical markers, monuments or public art installations.

The players will also increase their Trainer level, which will allow them to catch more powerful Pokémons. At the same time, if the players will catch multiples of the same Pokémon, they will be able to evolve it.

You can also purchase Eggs at PokéStops, which will hatch into a Pokémon eventually, after the player walks a long distance.

The players will also be encouraged to join one of the three teams and engage in Gym battles with other teams. Once they join a team, they will be able to assign a Pokémon to a Gym. According to the Pokémon Company and Niantic, Gyms are found at real locations all over the world, but one player can send only one Pokémon at a given Gym and the team members will need to work together in order to build a good defense.

HINT: Keep in mind that a Gym claimed by a team can be challenged by other two teams!

Niantic also added that Pokémon Go will come with in-game achievements and we’re sure that most of the players will enjoy hearing this.
