On March 21, the newest update was released for all mobile versions of the popular game Clash of Clans. As detailed in the full patch notes, this update includes a lot of little gameplay tweaks as well as new additions.
The dev team is focused on making the game more balanced, so there are a lot of rebalancing tweaks in this update. For example, the range has been slightly reduced for the Grand Warden’s Life Aura and Eternal Tome, Skeletons have lower HP, and the Valkyrie unit attacks faster when she reaches her target. These are only a few of the balance adjustments.
Some changes have also been made to matchmaking so that Town Hall 10 and Town Hall 11 players won’t be matched against each other as often, although this doesn’t change anything in the Champion league or higher.
Changes to Clan Wars matchmaking previously discussed by the dev team have been implemented, and you can no longer participate in war sizes 35×35 or 45v45.
Revenge attacks also give Star Bonus and League Bonus rewards now.
New content has also been added to Clash of Clans. There is a new unit available at Town Hall 10 called the Bowler. Town Hall 10 now also has a level 6 Hog Rider, level 5 Valkyrie, and level 7 Goblin, while Town Hall 11 has a level 4 Inferno Tower and level 9 Mortar.
Finally, new features have been added to make things more convenient for players, such as a Builder Summary that shows all of your ongoing construction, and the ability to see how many resources are within the Loot Cart before you take them.

Some players have encountered problems with the latest update. The developers have made a list of known issues they’re working to fix. These include matchmaking mistakes, incorrect upgrade times, and buggy traps. If you encounter what seems to be a glitch or bug in your Clash of Clans game, check the list for more information—and if your problem isn’t listed among the known issues, report it so it can be looked into.
The latest Clash of Clans update is meant to rebalance and improve the game with new tweaks and features. What do you think of the changes?
