If you’ve seen the title of this composition, then you already know you’re about to witness the toughest duel of 2016. Without including the iPhone, these phones are the best ones in today’s market. Not only because they are developed by top enterprises, but because every aspect of their design and functionality makes them stand out among the others.

When you’re in front of such remarkable smartphones, you’re definitely going to spend a long time trying to decide which one to buy. If you’re already in the decision process, we’ll help you out by making a deep analysis and comparison between these four marvelous smartphones.

Because it would take us days to analyze and review each one of them separately, we’re going to divide this competition in a number of crucial categories. Although they all make a great job on each one of the categories, one of them has to be slightly better. These categories will be: camera, screen, processor, storage, and battery life. We’ve chosen the aspects that customers pay the most attention to before acquiring a new phone.

Camera

Although all these models have outstanding cameras with a great resolution and countless functions, we have to say the one from the Xperia Performance X is the winner. Not by much, but it is the winner.

This phone has a camera of 23Mp and a resolution of 1080p. It comes with phase detection, autofocus, flash LED, 1/3” sensor and HDR.

Screen

In spite of the fact that all these phones have amazing and clear screens, they all vary in size and, slightly, in resolution. While the biggest screen goes to the Xiaomi Mi 5 (5,15”) the Galaxy S7 has the best resolution with 1440 x 2560 and a 577 ppi pixel density resolution.

As you might know, Galaxy has always been known for having the best resolution when it comes to Android phones, and the S7 is no exception. We want to clarify that, no matter which one of these phones you buy, you will be highly satisfied with the screen you get.

Storage

The limitation of storage is an issue that most smartphone users despise. No matter how fast and effective a phone might be, if it has storage limitations, its attractiveness will be severely affected. Fortunately, you won´t have that problem if you purchase the 128 GB version of the Xiaomi Mi5.

Although the Xiaomi is the one with the best storage, the LG G5 can be used with a microSD card of up to 2tb (2000 GB).

Processor

We have to admit this is by far the hardest category to review, for they all function with the Snapdragon 820, which is the fastest processor on the market. However, we have to say that the Galaxy S7 runs slightly faster than the others. These are the little details that make Galaxy models superior to the rest.

Battery Life

In this category we have a tie between the Xiaomi Mi5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7, as they both have a 3000 mhA battery. From personal experience, we can assure that both phones have an outstanding battery life, which is an aspect that most customers prioritize.

The verdict

Seeing that the Galaxy S7 ended up being the winner in 3 of the 5 categories, we have to agree it is the best Android smartphone available on the market. If you´re looking for an even better experience, you can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which is a slightly bigger and improved version of the original.

We cannot say the Galaxy S7 is the best option for you, for it is up to you to decide which categories are more meaningful to you. Perhaps you are a hardcore Instagrammer who solely looks for a phone with a good camera, in which case you´re going to want the Xperia Performance X. As you can see, it all comes down to personal preference.
