Sharing is caring!

The world of smartphones is just filled with new models from different companies trying to compete for your attention. On the top of the list are two of the most popular android phones on the market.

Which one is right for you, and why should you pick one over the other?

Apple now has two top competitors going at it for which Android phone could be called its worthy adversary.

If you’re like many who have used the Samsung Galaxy for many years now, you might as well stick with it as you probably won’t be as likely to change your mind, but if you are, then we suggest you take a look at the benefits between your favorite Galaxy vs the LG’s latest phone.

Performance and Specs, What To Expect

Samsung Galaxy S7:

Let’s start out with Samsung’s new Galaxy S7 performance and specs.

The new phone is designed to be 5.61 x 2.74 x 0.31 inches with more refined edges to make it look different from its S6 model. It isn’t much of change or difference in looks, but it does look a little nicer and refined than the S6.

The chipset is of Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 Exynos 8890 Octa, which they announce that it will be faster than the previous galaxies.

Now, when we think of faster speed we think of heat that will come from the chipset being overworked. Well, the good news is Samsung has implemented heatsink that will absorb much more heat and allow for the chipset to be much cooler.

Battery life will be better as it will help with the new improved speed and performance. Unfortunately, you will not be able to remove the battery and replace it with a stronger one.

The camera has also been tweaked a bit to enhance colors and capturing the best quality pictures. Samsung said that they have improved the camera and made it better than previous versions.

LG G5:

In competition with Samsung’s Galaxy S7, LG has come up with the LG G5 that has made improvement in its designs for a nice clean look. You can tell a difference from the LG G5 and LG’s previous models.

LG G5 will also be using the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which will increase its performance more than any of the previous version and put it on par with Samsung’s Galaxy s7.

One key feature is that the LG G5 allows for removal of its battery which can be replaced for stronger and better battery life.

As for the LG G5’s camera, it probably will blow Samsung’s camera out of the water as its laser autofocus with 4k video recording comes with many editing features that can make video and photo editing look 10x better.

Ending Thoughts

There are both pros and cons to the two phones, but all in all they should work just about the same with some advantages over one another.

It just comes down to your personal preference and what you would rather want to have as your phone.

These two phones would make a great gift for the holidays!

Until next time.
