Samsung has just released its Galaxy S7 device, while HTC is about to launch its One M10 device next month. Today we’re going to compare these two “fresh” handsets and you’ll decide which one is worth purchasing.


The Samsung Galaxy S7 measures 142.4×69.6×7.9mm, it weights 152 grams and its back cover is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, while the frame is made of metal. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about the measurements that the HTC One M10 will come with, but from the leaked images, we’ve noticed that the new flagship will continue to look like an iPhone.


The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a Super AMOLED display of 5.1-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 577 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. On the other hand, the HTC One M10 will come with an AMOLED display of 5.15-inch that will support the same resolution, but it will have a slightly lower pixel density of 570 ppi and it will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, as well.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Samsung Galaxy S7 comes in two variants of chipsets, processors and graphics cards:

– Chipset: Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 Octa;
– Processors: Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo or Quad-core 2.3 GHz Mongoose & quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53;
– Graphics Card: Adreno 530 or Mali-T880 MP12;
– RAM: 4GB of RAM.

The HTC One M10 is expected to feature a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset with a quad-core processor formed from a dual core Kryo processor clocked at 1.6GHz and a dual-core Kryo processor clocked at 2.15GHz, an Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM.


The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been released in two variants of internal memories of 32GB and 64GB, while the HTC One M10 will have only one variant of 32GB, but you will be able to expand the storage on both devices, as they support microSD cards up to 200GB.


The Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a primary camera of 12MP with OIS, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, autofocus, face detection, auto HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP.

According to reports, the HTC One M10 will come with a 12MP primary camera that will feature touch focus, dual-LED flash, OIS, autofocus, face detection, HDR, panorama, touch focus. However, there are no rumors regarding its secondary camera.


The Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh, but the HTC One M10 is expected to come with a much bigger battery of 4000 mAh.
