Sharing is caring!

WhatsApp is a very popular application and the developers have decided a few weeks ago to remove the yearly fee. With other words, this awesome application is now totally free and can be used by anyone who has access to the internet on their smartphones (Wi-Fi or mobile data).

WhatsApp is continuously evolving and we’ve told you a few days ago that the Document Sharing button has been released for this application for the Android, iOS and Windows 10 Mobile operating systems.

Yesterday, the WhatsApp application for Windows Phone devices has been updated to 2.12.318. We’ve all expected to see the new WhatsApp version come with the Document Sharing button, but for some reason, this feature has not been added yet to the Windows Phone version.

The new WhatsApp 2.12.318 BETA version doesn’t bring any major changes to the application, and it seems that the developers have just fixed some bugs and improved the application’s stability. We’re not sure when the developers will finally allow the WhatsApp users that own Windows Phone devices to send Document files while using this application, but we’re expecting this to happen sometime soon.

We also remind you that there are rumors which say that the WhatsApp application will soon receive a Video Calling feature, which will allow the users to send and receive Video Calls via this popular application. Unfortunately, the developers of WhatsApp haven’t confirmed any of these rumors, so we should take them with a bit of salt.

The WhatsApp 2.12.318 can be downloaded on your Windows Phone device from the official store. However, in order to be able to install it on your Windows Phone device, you will firstly need to enroll in the BETA testing program. Once you do this, you will be able to download the latest WhatsApp BETA version as soon as it gets released.
