Five US carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon) are getting ready to release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to LG’s flagships G4, G4 Stylo, G3, V10 and G Flex 2. Below we’ll present you the upgrade schedule, so you’ll know when the new firmware will arrive on your phone.

After Verizon, Sprint’s subscribers will be the second ones to upgrade their G4 devices, then AT&T, US Cellular and T-Mobile. We don’t guarantee that there won’t be any delays, because sometimes, carriers face all kinds of issues. The older G3 was upgraded by Verizon, and soon, this update will be released by AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Sprint. By the end of this month, the international variant of this model is expected to be upgraded as well, skipping the version 5.1, according to a report from Know Your Mobile, which was published in December.

Android Marshmallow will roll out to other LG handsets such as LG V10, LG G Flex 2 and LG G Stylo and rumors say that they will receive the upgrade in March, but no specific date was given. The LG G Stylo received the Android Lollipop update in February and reports say that this device will also run on Marshmallow. The LG G4 Pro hasn’t been officially announced, but it is believed that the device will come preloaded with Android Marshmallow. The G2 is already three years old, but it is very likely to get Android Marshmallow as well, which would be surprising.

Pocket-Lint has reported that LG will publish an upgrade schedule, so that the owners of other devices will know when they’ll receive the Marshmallow update. The users are advised to manually check if the update is available for their devices by going to Settings > System Update.

As for the LG G4 Pro, the phablet will have a 5.8-inch screen with a QHD resolution, it will be powered by a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 quad core processor backed by an Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM, it will have a primary camera of 27 MP with laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash, a secondary camera of 8MP and two variants of internal memories with capacities of 32GB and 64GB, which will support expansion up to 128GB.
