Google Search is the most used web search engine in the world, being released 18 years ago. Recently, this engine has received a new feature, but it’s available only on mobile devices. Destination is its name and its role is to help you look up for locations and plan your trips.

Google has thought of the people who love to travel and added a new feature which will help them plan their next move, by looking up for destinations, hotels and prices, right from their mobile devices. Booking a flight will be a simple task, as Google Destinations will send you to an airline website and you will complete the purchase. The feature can estimate the cost of a flight or hotel, in the next period or at a particular time of the year.

Destinations has a tab called Explore, which will show information about the weather at your destination, so you will know what to wear when you arrive to that location. In addition to this, you are able to search for specific activities, and you can add words such as hiking, surfing or skiing, in order to get suggestions for locations where you will practice your hobbies.

Flexible Dates is a filter that will refine your results, so when you’ll have a free month and want to go somewhere, you will have plenty locations to choose from, based on the best fares and rates. You will see a blue icon on which you’ll tap to browse the most-frequently traveled itineraries and you will get suggestions based on what places have been visited by other travelers.

After selecting a destination, just tap the “Plan a trip” button and you will see all the rates for hotels and flights. You will get recommendations for the next six months, “pulling from the trillions of flight itineraries and hotels we price every day on Google Flights and Hotel search.” You will customize your results further by tapping the pencil icon, so you’ll decide what flights and hotels meet your requirements.
