HTC One M10 is expected to be unveiled in the coming months after several speculations and also hints from the Taiwanese manufacturer itself.

A recent teaser image on HTC’s Facebook page hinted a new device in the making; probably the anticipated One M10 as the image had a hashtag #powerof10. This elicited numerous reactions from various quarters with speculations of a “soon-to-come” announcement of the device.

Recently, HTC’s Chief Financial Officer Chialin Chang revealed that their next flagship would have what he termed as a “compelling” camera. Other reports have also emerged stating that the next model of the One M series will debut in three variants.  As of now, no official communication regarding the purported HTC flagship has been relayed but reliable sources have so far given hints on the specs, release dates, features and the price of the HTC One M10.

Release date

Recent reliable leaks have hinted on 11th April 2016 to be the probable date for the debut of the One M10 handset from HTC. The February Facebook tease of the handset depicts that the company has so far been impressed with its design and specs which are said to be favorable to handle the recently announced LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7.

Purported name and price

So far, chances of the name of the next HTC flagship being far from One M10 are very minimal. Earlier rumors had it that the phone might be dubbed ‘HTC O2’ or ‘HTC Perfume’. Given the February teaser by the company that contained the hashtag #powerof10, it is very likely that the next flagship will have the number 10. From the circulating rumors, reports, leaks and info so far, the phone is likely to be dubbed “HTC One M10”.  With the expected specs of the device, it is likely to cost just like the other high end phones available – around US$700.

Specs of the One M10

The One M10 is speculated to have a 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED display. The device is also said to be supported with a Snapdragon 820 chipset with extra enhanced processor specifications. One M10 is also said to come with a 4GB RAM and internal storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB with expandable memory storage. As regards the OS, you don’t need rocket-science to figure out that the flagship would run on Android Marshmallow.

With Chang’s revelation about the phone’s camera, it will definitely be the bomb. Expectations have it that the device will pack a 12MP primary snapper with enhanced latest tech features. The front HTC logo and the HTC’s Boomsound speakers are reportedly absent on HTC One M10.
