A new WhatsApp version has been released for iPhones and it fixed the issue that was causing the application to crash along with the one that was causing extra storage to be used.
According to Redmond pie, the earlier WhatsApp version for iPhone allowed the users to send and receive PDF documents, but, at the same time, the earlier version was causing the application to use too much storage space. Well, the WhatsApp users on iPhones will no longer have to worry about this issue, as it has been fixed in the latest WhatsApp version.
The “What’s New” section that’s found inside the App Store, confirms that the new WhatsApp update for iPhone still allows the users to send and receive the PDF files, but as we’ve told you, this feature was also found on the earlier version of the application.
The new WhatsApp 2.12.15 can now be downloaded from the App Store and you will notice that it also brings an improved design for browsing videos and photos. With other words, you will be able to share photos and videos from other applications that are installed on the iPhone. In addition, the new version of the application now allows you to change colors for chat background and also allows you to zoom in videos while they are playing.
We remind you that, last week, the developers of WhatsApp have released the 2.12.500 version for Android devices, which brought a number of features, such as the one that allows the users to see if their messages are end-to-end encrypted. In addition, the new version also will collapse long messages, which means that your application will no longer crash when somebody sends you a text full of emojis.
