If you own an Apple product such as the iPhone, iPad or iPod, and you’re looking for a way to jailbreak into the latest versions of Apple, then you’re going to have to wait for a few months. It seems that jailbreaking into the latest version of Apple’s iOS is a lot harder than the previous versions.

There is a jailbreak for iOS version 9.0, however, if you decide to update your phone to the latest versions such as iOS 9.1-9.2, you’re going to have some difficulties because there’s just simply no other legit jailbreak source for these versions.

Hackers have managed to find a jailbreak for version iOS 9.3, but it’s still only in Beta.

Will we get a jailbreak for 9.1 and 9.2?

We’ll have to wait and see what will happen, but surely we can hope developers and hackers are probably working hard to bring the next jailbreak to the newer versions.

What Should You Do In The Meantime?

If you are using iOS version 9.0, be sure to not update as this will cause many security problems. However, if you have updated up to version 9.1, you can always downgrade to version 9.0 and remain jailbroken. If you updated all the way to 9.2 then you will not be able to downgrade to version 9.0 because there are simply no downgrade tutorials.

Be sure that if you want to remain jailbroken, you need to not upgrade any further beyond version 9.02.

In the meantime, everyone who’s looking for a jailbreak for version 9.1-9.2.1 will have to wait. Have some patience and enjoy the current apps available to you.

News About The Jailbreaks For Current Versions

There are rumors that an Italian hacker by the name of Luca Tudesco has proven that he had been able to successfully jailbreak all of the iOS versions from 9.1-9.3. That’s right, all the way up to 9.3!

Tudesco, however, will not be releasing the jailbreaks to the public because of security reasons.

Well-known jailbreaking groups have managed to jailbreak version 9.2.0, but if you were to update, you will be standing at version 9.2.1, which can’t be downgraded to 9.2.0. So, in conclusion, it is useless and you’ll have to wait until they can manage to jailbreak version 9.2.1 before Apple can release their new updates.

Ending Thoughts:

The effort put into jailbreak the newer versions looks like it’s slowing down as developers and hacker are becoming more frustrated with Apple’s newer updates and now allowing people to downgrade.

Also with some security and privacy issue in the newer versions, it’s difficult for hackers to really exploit these newer versions of jailbreaks.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens as of now there are no release dates for 9.2.1 jailbreaks.

Stay away from any jailbreaks starting from version 9.1-9.2.1 because more than likely they are viruses or hacking programs that can steal your information.
