HTC haven’t officially announced the new One M10 smartphone, but for a few weeks they gave ass small hints about it. Taiwanese company preferred not to announce its new flagship at Mobile World Congress, where they could have fought for attention with Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5, but are preparing a dedicated launch event to be held soon, despite that was not announced an official date yet.
The advertising campaign for the HTC One M10 suggests a major change in the company’s approach. It seems that the design will be significantly different, and performance far superior to the previous model, at all chapters. The motto “Power of 10” suggests a powerful, probably based on the new Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm. Past rumors suggested a smartphone with an advanced camera system with “Ultrapixel” sensors of high resolution, a chapter that previous models have not excelled.
What remains is to wait for the official announcement of the company and see the direction that HTC will guide One M10. While LG has chosen to address a modular design and Samsung to improve to near perfection its last year’s model, HTC should come with a phone downright surprising to compete with these devices of high-end segment.
