Pokémon Go is an upcoming augmented-reality game that will be released for iPhones and Android devices. In addition, there will also be a companion device named “Pokémon Go Plus”, which you will be able to wear in your hand.

The game is developed by Niantic and The Pokémon Company and we’re pretty sure that it will make some big waves once it will be released. We remind you that Niantic is a formed Google startup that has branched out on its own and it is known as the developer who has released an augmented-reality game named “Ingress”. Nintendo is also working on the development and manufacture of the companion device, the “Pokémon GO Plus”, which will be wanted by many players of the “Pokémon GO” game.

The “Pokémon GO” game will be available for download from the Apple Store and Google Play Store for your iPhone or Android device. You will be able to play the game in the real world via the augmented reality, which means that you will be able to find and catch Pokémons in the real world. Pokémons will be available in random areas in your town and if you will own the “Pokémon Go Plus” device, it will let you know whenever a Pokémon is nearby. In addition, the game itself will let you know about this, but things will be easier if you will own the companion device.

After finding and catching a Pokémon, you will be to trade it with your friends or even send it to battle with other Pokémons. John Hanke, the founder of Niantic, said that for the first time, the Pokémon fans will be able to roam free in the real world in order to catch Pokémons. According to the developer, the Pokémons will be found in shopping areas, parks, countryside and sidewalks all around the world.

Pokémon Go is expected to be released this year, but the developer hasn’t announced an official release date yet.
