Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy S7 device, which comes with fresh feature upgrades that are currently not found on devices that are manufactured by other companies.
Some earlier reviews show that both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will easily be the top smartphone in 2016, but let’s not forget that Apple will release its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus sometime this fall.
We’re sure that Apple will not surrender so easy, but in order to win this battle, the American manufacturer will need to bring some of the features that will be available on the upcoming Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 will feature a 2K display screen which will surely please your eye, since it will also use the AMOLED display technology. According to some rumors, the new iPhones will most likely feature AMOLED displays.
Awesome Camera System
Samsung and Apple have always had a camera war. For example, last year it was a quite close battle, but this year Samsung has higher chances to win thanks to these four improvements:
– Dual-Pixel Technology,
– F/1.7 aperture,
– Bigger pixels at 1.4 micron,
– Super snappy auto-focus.
With other words, Apple will need to make a lot of touch-ups before releasing the iPhone 7, if the company is hoping to keep up the pace with Samsung’s new Galaxy devices.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S7 will be able to stay alive for up to 10 hours while watching a movie. This is clearly not the case for the iPhone 6S, but things might change for the iPhone 7.
Fast & Wireless Charging
The Galaxy S7 has a fast charging feature that the users will be able to activate and deactivate anytime. In addition, the device also supports wireless charging, which can also be accelerated. None of these features are to be found on the iPhone 6S, but Apple might decide to bring them on the upcoming iPhone 7.
The Galaxy S7 comes optimized for virtual reality and this is the reason why Samsung has invited Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Facebook, to grace the feature unveiling. According to rumors, Google will also come with virtual reality feature on the upcoming Android version and the Nexus 2016 family.
