The Pokemon GO augmented reality game will firstly be released in Europe, Japan and North America, and other countries will follow. This was confirmed by Tsunekazu Ishihara, the CEO of the Pokemon Company, during an interview he had with the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper.
After the Pokemon GO game will be released in the three zones we’ve mentioned above, other regions such as Asia, Africa, Middle East, South America will also receive it. However, the game will not be released too soon for these other regions and, most likely, it will take a while until this will finally happen.
We remind you that some earlier reports from this year said that the AR mobile game is most likely still under development and it will finally be announced sometime in early 2016. Unfortunately, Niantics Inc., the developer of “Pokemon Go” and “Ingress” didn’t say anything about an upcoming BETA of this game. However, we’re pretty sure that the developer will most likely announce a BETA for this game in the next days.
Ishihara has also confirmed during his interview with the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper that the company is currently working on a new “Pokemon” project, which, according to the CEO of the Pokemon Company, is described as a “big” game. Unfortunately, Ishihara didn’t give any more details about this game, but hopefully he will make an official statement about this upcoming title.
We remind you that there are rumors about an upcoming “Pokemon Z” game for quite a while, but the developer didn’t confirm any of them until now. Because of that, we should take this news with a bit of salt and wait for an official statement.
Will you play the Pokemon GO game once it will be released? Do you think that “Pokemon Z” will be the next “big” game that Ishihara was talking about?
