The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and LG G4 have been released last year and both devices come with big sized displays and awesome specifications. Today we’re going to compare them and let you decide which one of them suits your needs better.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium measures 154.4×75.8×7.8mm and weights 180 grams. It has a glass and metal construction and each corner is protected by a clear plastic outer. Unlike other devices, which have a fingerprint scanner located under the screen or under the rear camera, Sony has chosen another location for the fingerprint reader of the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium: the right side. The LG G4 is thicker and lighter as it measures 148.9×76.1×9.8mm and weights only 155 grams. This model has two variants of materials for its back: genuine leather with vertical stitching running down the middle, or plastic with a 3D diamond pattern.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium comes with an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels at 806 ppi and is protected by a scratch resistant glass. On the other hand, the LG G4 has an IPS LCD display with the same size, but its resolution is lower at 2560×1440 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 538 ppi, and it’s protected by Corning gorilla Glass 3.
