The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been official announced by the South Korean company. On the other hand, the iPhone 6S Plus was launched last fall, in September, as a small update to Apple’s first phablet. Today we’re going to compare these two devices and let you decide which one is better for you.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge measures 150.9×72.6×7.7mm and weights 157 grams. It’s much taller than the S6 Edge, which has a height of 142.1, but they share the same design: glass on the back and a metallic frame. The Apple iPhone 6S Plus is thinner and heavier as it measures 158.2×77.9×7.3mm and weights 192 grams, but its body is made of a tougher and thicker aluminum alloy, but there is also a new variant of color, Rose Gold, which was appreciated mostly by the female buyers.
The Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a super AMOLED display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 534 ppi. On the other hand, the iPhone 6S Plus has an IPS LCD display with the same size, but it supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The Galaxy S7 Edge features two types of chipsets, processors and GPUs, as follows:

– Exynos 8890 Octa chipset, an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and a quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and a Mali-T880 MP12 graphics card.
Both Galaxy S7 Edge variants come with 4GB of RAM.
The iPhone 6S Plus has an Apple A9 chipset, a dual-core Twister processor clocked at 1.84GHz, a PowerVR GT7600 graphics card and only 2GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S7 Edge comes with two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, which you will be able to expand up to 200GB using a microSD card. The iPhone 6S Plus has been released in three internal storage variants of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, but it doesn’t feature a card slot for storage expansion.
The Galaxy S7 Edge sports a primary camera of 12MP (found on the rear side of the handset) that features OIS, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, auto-HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP (found on the front side of the device). The iPhone 6S Plus has a 12MP primary camera that features autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP.
