The LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 are two devices that will be released in the first quarter of 2016. Today we’re going to compare them based on the specifications that are currently rumored. However, keep in mind that these specifications have not been confirmed by the manufactures of these flagships.
Designs and Displays
The LG G5 is expected to come with an IPS LCD display of 5.6-inch that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 525 ppi and it will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The successor might come with a full metal body and an official accessory case (Quick Cover case) with a perforated mesh design, which will allow the users to see what’s on the display, to take calls and to interact with notifications using the Always On display feature.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will most likely come with a super AMOLED display of 5.1-inch that will support a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and it will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device won’t bring massive changes, so it will have the same glass back and a metal frame, but the rumors say that Samsung has used a tougher alloy.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The LG G5 comes with a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released in two variants as follows:

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released in three internal storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, but you will be able to expand it up to 200GB using a microSD card.
