The HTC Butteryfly 3 and ZTE Blade X9 smartphones have been released in the last quarter of 2015. One of them is a mid-tier with superior specs, while the other is a phablet with a mid-range processor. Today we’re going to compare them and let you decide which one of these two devices suits your needs better.
The HTC Butterfly 3 measures 151x73x10mm and weights 161 grams. On the outside, it doesn’t give the impression that it’s a flagship, because HTC made a compromise and used plastic uni-body design, in order to cut the production costs. The three options of colors for the back are Blue, Red and White, while the rear camera is positioned in the central top and has a secondary sensor, which is used to capture distance information. On the other hand, the ZTE Blade X9 is slimmer as it measures 155.3×77.2×8.6mm and weights 160 grams. This phablet looks more elegant because it has a metal body and a fingerprint scanner under the rear camera.
The HTC Butterfly 3 comes with a display of 5.2-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 565 ppi. The ZTE Blade X9 has an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi.
