In the past, Apple used to announce its new iPhones and Mac computers during an annual event, then, a few months later, the new iPads were unveiled. However, the apparition of the Apple Watch and Apple TV has messed up the old release pattern, because they were released in spring and apparently, things are about to change even more, because in mid-March, the American corporation is expected to release the third iPad Air, the second generation Apple Watch and a new 4-inch iPhone which will be named either iPhone 5se or iPhone 6c.

At the beginning of February, 9to5Mac has reported that “Apple is currently aiming to unveil the new 4-inch the iPhone 5se, the iPad Air 3, and new Apple Watch band options at an event on Tuesday, March 15th, according to sources. We previously reported that Apple was on track to launch the new products during the week of March 14th. As the scheduled event is still a month-and-a-half away, the date could conceivably still shift or turn into an online announcement. The media event would be Apple’s first since September, and much like the fall event, is planned to touch on three major product categories for the company.”

We’ll start by saying that the rumored iPhone 5se, the upcoming iPad Air 3 and MacBooks will come with the Rose Gold color which was introduced alongside the iPhone 6S. While the next 12-inch MacBook and new iPad Mini are scheduled to be released in the fall of 2016, the three products we’ve told you about in the introduction will arrive next month. The iPad Air 3 will come with the same screen size of 9.7-inch, but MyDrivers claims that the resolution will be increased up to 2334x3112pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 401ppi. 9to5Mac added that the tablet will have a Smart Connector which will allow the users to connect it to a physical keyboard, enhanced speakers and according to some unconfirmed drawings leaked by case make sources, the next iPad Air could have a rear-LED flash for the camera.

As for the hardware specs, it seems that the tablet could be powered by an Apple A9 chip or an A9X chipset, which will support between 2GB and 4GB of RAM, but the battery will be reduced to 7,340mAh because the device will be thinner (5mm). The IPX7 waterproofing certification is another interesting rumor that should be taken into consideration. The internal memory will be available in three variants of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, unexpandable, while the rear camera will have a resolution of 8MP and the front shooter will support 2.1MP.
