WhatsApp is the application of the moment and that’s confirmed by over 1 billion monthly active users. The developers have added many features and options, especially in the past year, such as voice calling, the web client, the possibility to save chat history on the cloud, new emojis etc. The users can keep in touch with their friends who live all over the world with the power of the internet, plus, the application is now free, after WhatsApp has dropped the annual fee of $0.99. New beta updates are released quite frequent for Android and today we’ll talk about version 2.12.448.
WhatsApp 2.12.448 doesn’t come with any new features or options, but it is good to know that the installation file weighs 27.01MB, which is an insignificant increase in size compared to the previous version. However, the WhatsApp 2.12.448 comes with many bug fixes and improvements, which you will notice in the first minutes of use.
As we’ve told you in some previous articles, there are rumors which say that the developers are working on implementing the Video Calling feature that will firstly hit the Android OS and, after that, iOS, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone. However, this has not been confirmed yet by the developers, so we should take this news with a bit of salt. Currently, the users can increase the number of participant in group chats, as now there are supported 256 people, instead of 100.
