The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro and Huawei Ascend Mate 7 are two devices that have been released in 2015 (May) and 2014 (October), respectively. The handsets come with big sized displays, awesome specifications and today we’re going to compare them. Let’s see if they have anything in common.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro measures 155.1×77.6x7mm and weights 161 grams. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is thicker and heavier as it measures 157x81x7.9mm and weights 185 grams. While the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has a metallic trim running across the sides and a plastic back, the Ascend Mate 7 has an all-metal body and a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has an IPS LCD display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 515 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 features a bigger IPS LCD display of 6-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 368 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro comes with a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset, an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 2GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 430 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has a HiSilicon Kirin 925 chipset, an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and a quad-core Cortex A15 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, a Mali-T628MP4 graphics card and 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has been released with an internal memory of 64GB and it doesn’t offer a card slot for storage expansion. The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 comes in two internal storage variants of 16GB (the variant device with 2GB of RAM) and 32GB (the device variant with 3GB of RAM), but you can expand them up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro sports a primary camera of 13MP (on the rear side of the handset) that features autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 4MP (on the front side of the device). The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has a primary camera of 13MP that features autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro has been released with a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh, but the Huawei Ascend Mate 7 has a more powerful cell of 4100 mAh, which also can’t be removed.
