The Lumia 650 is the new smartphone that Microsoft will release in the next months, but its specifications haven’t been officially confirmed by the developer. However, there are many rumors and leaks suggesting that the device will be budget-friendly and will cost €199.99, without a contract. This price has been mentioned by three countries: Ireland, the UK and Czech Republic. What about its specs?
The Lumia 650 might be finally announced until the end of this month, and will be available in stores a few months later. The unconfirmed specs that are circulating in Ireland suggest that the phone’s screen will measure 4.97-inch, the primary camera will support 8MP and the selfie snapper will have a resolution of 5MP. The processor has four cores clocked at 1.3GHz, the internal memory has a capacity of 16GB and the OS is obviously Windows 10 Mobile. Some of the features will include Glance Screen and HD voice support. As for the design, it was mentioned that the frame is made of metal, while to build the back, Microsoft has used plastic. On the front side will be located a speaker.
Windows Phone Area believes that the chipset will be Snapdragon 212 or 410, which will house 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, while the rest of specs coincide with those that we’ve listed above.
GSNArena, on the other hand, has published these preliminary unofficial specifications: an 5-inch IPS LCD ClearBlack screen supporting a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 294 ppi, which will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3; a Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset which will house a quad-core 1.1GHz Cortex-A7 processor that will backed by an Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB of RAM; the internal memory will be expanded from 8GB to 128GB with a microSD card; the primary camera will be 8MP with 8 MP, f/2.2, 28mm, autofocus, LED flash and 1/4″ sensor size, while the front camera will support a resolution of 5MP. Finally, the battery will be very small, supporting a maximum capacity of 2000mAh, but it will be removable.
