Huawei has manufactured a device, dubbed Honor 5X and this one is competing with the one designed by LG, called the Nexus 5X, we don’t know what Google was thinking when it decided to launch two smartphones with a similar name, but who are we to judge? We’re just hoping that the specs will make a difference. If you’re also wondering, have a look at the comparison between the Nexus 5X and the Honor 5X down below:
Design, OS, Battery and Camera
Google’s newest Nexus 5X mirrors the former Nexus 5 device, because they are both designed by the LG company. Thus, this device is made out of plastic and it has the curvy edges. This is a very slim device and it comes in black, white and a pastel blue shade, it is equipped with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display.
The Honor 5X on the other hand, has a sort of confusing look. Because it has the stamped speakers just like the iPhone, an angular shape just like a Sony device and a polished metal look similar to the HTC One, this device sports an interesting appeal. It has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display while the body measures 151.×76.3×8.2 mm.
The Nexus 5X has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and this one is paired with 2GB of RAM whereas the Honor 5X packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and it has 2GB of RAM and 3GB of RAM.
The Nexus 5X only comes with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage and it has no microSD card support while the Honor 5X has the 16GB base model and it can be expanded up to 128 GB, due to the microSD card support.
As far as camera units, both the Nexus 5X and the Honor 5X sport a 13 MP camera with laser-autofcos and dual-LED flash. Both have non-detachable battery units, however the Honor 5X rocks a bigger Li-Po 3000 mAh battery while the Nexus 5X comes equipped with a smaller Li-Po 2700 mAh battery.
And last but not least, as far as OS the Nexus 5X comes with the newest Android 6.0 M operating system, while the Honor X has the Android Lollipop.
