The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S and Apple iPad Pro are two tablets that come with awesome features and specifications and we’ll compare them in this article. They’re both premium devices and the owners can attach a keyboard in order to transform them into laptops.

Designs

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S measures 290.3×198.8×6.3mm and weights 696 grams, the tablet has a plastic back and Samsung is offering a keyboard with a touchpad, which serves as a cover. On the other hand, Apple’s iPad Pro is made of aluminum, just like the other iPads, it measures 304.8×220.5×6.9mm and weights 723 grams, the keyboard is sold separately and it costs $169.



Displays

The Galaxy TabPro S comes with a 12-inch display that supports a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels at 216 ppi. The iPad Pro has a larger display size of 12.9-inch and supports a resolution of 2732×2048 pixels at 265 ppi.

Processors & RAM

The Galaxy TabPro S features an Intel sixth-generation low-power Core M dual-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and 4GB of RAM. The processor is fanless, so it doesn’t make too much noise and it also performs very well. The iPad Pro is powered by an A9X processor, which, according to Apple, is 1.8 times faster than that of the iPad Air 2, and it is backed up by 4GB of RAM.

Cameras

Galaxy TabPro S sports a primary camera of 5MP (found on the rear side of the device) and a secondary camera of 5MP (found on the front side of the tablet). The iPad Pro has a more powerful primary camera of 8MP, while its secondary camera is not very good as it supports only 1.2MP.

Storages

The Galaxy TabPro S comes in two storage variants of 128GB and 256GB (SSD), the iPad Pro has been released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 128GB. Unfortunately, both devices don’t feature a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Batteries

Samsung claims that the battery that powers the Galaxy TabPro S is able to hold the device alive for 10 hours and a half. According to Apple, the battery that’s found on the iPad Pro is able to keep the device up and running for about 9 hours, which is quite impressive.
