Apple and Samsung are preparing to launch two stellar devices this year, we’re referring to the iPhone 7 and the Galaxy S7. There is talk about some enhanced features and specs, so let’s have a look at the rumored specs down below:
- Apple iPhone 7: Specs & launch date
Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 7 will roll out in two version, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, rocking a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Force Touch display as well. They will share the same Quad HD LCD display and have a similar resolution of 1 pixels. Apple is also thinking of resorting to the anti-reflective layer that has been used for the Pad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4. There are also rumors indicating that Apple might recur to a sapphire display for the premium iPhone 7. Samsung’s forthcoming stellar smartphone will also be available in two versions, the flat screen S7 and the curved S7 Edge. One will have 5.1-inch display while the other will have a 5.5-inch Super AMLOED display.
The Galaxy S7 will contain different chipsets as it will be rolled out for distinct markets.
One version will include the Exynos 8890 SoC while the other one will contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. Samsung crown-jewel device will feature 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage choices. Also, both models will come with the microSD card support for further expansion.
The camera unit might include a 12 MP sensor, this being much lower than the 16 MP one added in the S6 line.
The Galaxy S7 as well as the Galaxy S7 Edge will have a 3,000 mAh and a 3,600 mAh battery unit.
