Android Watches are expected to embrace the Android 6.0 M update really soon. The new Casio Smart Outdoor Watch and Huawei Watch for Ladies are also on the list. If you’re curious to find out what the update brings for Android Wear, check out the detailed features below:
- Gestures to ease navigation
Browsing through the apps and the interface will now be a smooth experience. You will be able to return to a certain app, return to the home screen by simply shaking your wrist or use other lifting gestures. If you want to enable these wrist gestures, hit Settings and click on Wrist gestures.
- Voice support for messages
Voice support will reach Android Wera. This means you will be able to send your message by “talking” to the device you have on your writ. The messages will be sent via Hangouts, Viber, WeChat, WhatsApp and more.
- Speaker support included
Watches that have speakers incorporated will benefit from a neat feature. You will be able to make calls using Bluetooth or even listen to any video/audio messages via Glide and other similar apps.
You should know that Android 6.0 M has already reached the LG Watch Urbane (2nd Edition), but it seems that there were some snags and the update was “withdrawn”. Either way, expect the Android 6.0 M for Android Wear to roll out in the upcoming weeks. Are you thrilled about the upcoming features that will be available on your Android watch?
