The OnePlus 2 and LG G4 are two devices that were released in 2015, each one being a successor, so the fans had high expectations from them. While the OnePlus 2 looked almost identical to the first model, the G4 came with two new variants of materials for its back.
The OnePlus 2 handset measures 151.8×74.9×9.9mm and weights 175 grams. On its back has the same plastic back with a sandstone black texture, but it became 1mm thicker than its predecessor and the sides are now protected with a metal frame. Also, on the front side is a new fingerprint scanner hidden inside the home button. On the other hand, the LG G4 is thinner and lighter as it measures 148.9×76.1×9.8 and weights only 155 grams, while its back is available in two variants of materials: genuine leather with a vertical stitching that runs down the middle, or plastic with a 3D diamond pattern. It has the physical buttons placed in the same location: below the rear camera.
The OnePlus 2 sports an LTPS IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The LG G4 has an IPS LCD display with the same size, but it supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 538 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
