The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is definitely a top-favorite phone for worldwide users and with that being said, Samsung decided to go ahead and roll out a dual SIM version, called Samsung Galaxy Note Duos. We’re going to compare the latter with BlackBerry’s newest launch, the BlackBerry Priv device.

Design and Display

BlackBerry Priv has a stunning QWERTY keypad while the Note 5 Duos comes with a stylus.

With the Priv device, the keypad works as a slider and if you need it for work related purposes, you can type fast due to incorporated keyboard. But, the Note 5 Duos also provides fast typing thanks to the Stylus addition, which packs a ton of features. The Samsung phone rocks an aluminum body whereas the BlackBerry Priv sports a plastic one.

In terms of display, the BlackBerry Priv sports a 5.4-inch curved glass AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 as well as Quad HD resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos on the other hand is equipped with a 5.7-inch AMOLED display that also has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and Quad HD resolution.

Processor, Storage & OS

The BlackBerry Priv packs a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor running at 1.8 GHz and it is paired with 3 GB of RAM. The device offers 32 GB of internal storage and a 200 GB micro SD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos has an octa-core 2.1 GHz Exynos 7420 processor that is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage models, but this time no storage slot.

The BlackBerry Priv runs Android Lollipop and it has a custom launcher, a nifty privacy app, dubbed DTEK and more. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos runs on the same OS and delivers the Samsung TouchWiz. This includes S Note, Action Memo and other cool features.

Battery, Camera & costs

The BlackBerry Priv packs a large 3410 mAh battery while the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos is has a smaller 3000 mAh battery. Camera wise, the BlackBerry Priv rocks an 18 MP primary shooter, Schneider-Kreuznach optics, OIS as well as phase detection autofocus, dual tone flash, HDR, and more. There is also a 2 MP snapper added in front.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos comes with a 16 MP shooter, OIS, autofocus, LED flash, touch focus, smile detection and more. The front snapper is a 5 MP one.

As for the costs, the 32 GB version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Duos costs Rs 51,400 while the 64 GB model can be yours for Rs 57,400. The BlackBerry Priv on the other hand costs Rs 62,990.
