Android is one of the most popular mobile operating systems out there. We have some good news for the Android fans and we’re informing them that a new Google Play Store version has been released.

The Google Play Store allows you to search, install and update applications and games with just a few taps. With other words, this is Android’s official store and it is quite “vital” for your mobile device that runs on Android OS.

The Google Play Store comes with an enormous library of music, movies, games, applications, books and many other useful things. At the same time, the Google Play Store will keep your Android updated with several services that are provided by Google in order to make your mobile device run smoother and without issues.

The Google Play Store was recently updated to version 6.1.12 and you can download it as we speak. The Google Play Store 6.1.12 (80441200) comes with an APK file size of 14.48MB and in order to install it on your mobile device, you will need to make sure that it runs on Android 2.3 or above.

The official changelog that the new Google Play Store version comes with doesn’t show too much information aside from a few bug fixes and a new redeem icon. You will also notice that the spinner from the “My Apps” section was fixed and it’s not freezing anymore while loading. At the same time, the total size of an application is now shown correctly for applications with extra data (.obb).

There are many users who prefer to keep using an older version of Google Play Store, but we suggest them to update the Google Play Store to 6.1.12 as they will notice that the official Android store is more stable and runs smoother than before.

Have you updated the Google Play Store from your Android device to 6.1.12 yet? Tell us your thoughts about it!
