Today we’re going to talk about two devices manufactured by HTC: the One M9 and One X9. Keep in mind that the M9 is a mid-tier model that was released in March 2015, while the One X9 is a phablet that arrived this month (January 2016).

The HTC One M9 measures 144.6×69.7×9.6mm and weights 157 grams. It’s nearly identical to the One M9 in terms of design, featuring a metal body with curved edges and two slim horizontal lines at the top and bottom. The HTC One X9 is a premium mid-range phablet that measures 153.9×75.9x8mm and weights 170 grams. It kept the lower line, while at the top it looks more like the Nexus 6P.

The HTC One M9 sports a super LCD3 display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi. On the other hand, the HTC One X9 has a larger display of 5.5-inch supporting the same resolution, but the pixel density is reduced to 401 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The HTC One M9 has a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset, featuring an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 2GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 430 graphics card and 3GB of RAM. The HTC One X9 comes with a Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 chipset which is powered by an octa-core Cortex A53 processor, it has a PowerVR G6200 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.

Both devices come with an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 200GB using a microSD card slot.

The HTC One M9 sports a primary camera of 20MP that’s found on the rear side of the device and features autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, smile/face detection and a secondary camera of 4MP (Ultrapixel) which should perform well in low light conditions. The HTC One X9 has a weaker primary camera of 13MP with dual-LED flash, OIS, autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR, panorama and on the front side of the device we can find a better camera of 5MP.
