Google Nexus devices are very popular, especially because when it comes to Android OS updates, because they have priority. Today we’re going to talk about two Nexus devices that have been released in the fall of 2015 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

Designs

The Nexus 5X measures 147×72.6×7.9mm and weights 136 grams. It has a plastic body with a large circular rear camera in the top center. On the other hand, the Nexus 6P is taller and skinnier than the Nexus 5X, measuring 159.3×77.8×7.3mm and it is heavier than the other device as it weights 178 grams. As for the design, the device is made of aluminum and has a shinny black glass running along the upper part of the back. Also, both devices have a circular fingerprint scanner on their backs.



Displays

The Nexus 5X has an IPS LCD display of 5.2-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 423 ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Nexus 6P features an AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 518 ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Nexus 5X comes with a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset featuring a hexa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A53 processors clocked at 1.44 GHz and a dual-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 1.82GHz, an Adreno 418 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The Nexus 6P sports a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset with an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.55GHz, an Adreno 430 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.

Storages

None of these two devices have a card slot for storage expansion. The Nexus 5X has been released in two internal storage variants of 16 GB and 32GB, while the Nexus 6P was released in three internal storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Cameras

Both devices come with a primary camera of 12.3MP that feature laser autofocus, dual LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HRD. When it comes to the secondary camera, the Nexus 5X has a 5MP one, while the Nexus 6P has a better one of 8MP.

Batteries

Both devices come with non-removable batteries, but the Nexus 5X has a weaker battery of only 2700 mAh compared to the 3450 mAh one that is found on the Nexus 6P.
