This year will definitely be the year of premium devices as users are anticipating the launch of two big-league ones, the iPhone 7 and the Galaxy S7. The two giant companies behind these upcoming releases are always competing against one another, however it’s going to be a close match as both of them will struggle to come up with remarkable devices.

Design, Display, Camera, Battery and Processor

Everyone loves a good iPhone, especially because the design part is well-done, so the iPhone 7 will definitely carry on the impressive design style. However, we cannot help but be mesmerized by the curved screen look that Samsung used for the Galaxy S and Note iterations. We’re betting it will do a fine job with the forthcoming Galaxy S7 as well.

When it comes to display technology, Samsung has done a swell job over the years, so the Galaxy S7 will surely be praiseworthy in this category. As for the iPhone 7, rumor has it that this one might include a HD display and Apple might also roll out a QHD phabelt in 2016.

According to various rumors, Apple is said to add a dual-shooter in its iPhone 7 device while Samsung is working on the BRITECELL technology. This means, the cameras that will be included in the Galaxy S7, will offer an enhanced shot even if the lighting is low.

Battery wise, everyone is expecting Apple to do something about this as in the past, the battery was definitely a weak point. Also, the Galaxy S7 is said to rock a slimmer battery unit this time around.

As far as processors, it’s clear who has an upper hand here, let’s recall that the quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 added in the Galaxy S7 definitely tops the dual-core 1.84 GHz Twister found in the iPhone 6S. We can surely say that the A10 chipset will be part of the iPhone 7 while the Galaxy S7 will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

As far as storage, Apple will roll out an iPhone model with 256 GB of internal storage. This is a lot more than the Galaxy S7 is said to deliver.

What about other features? Well, with the iPhone 7, Apple will offer a new dustproof and water-resistant device as well as the wireless charging option. The outstanding sapphire glass element is also expected to be included in the iPhone 7. As for Samsung, the company is betting on the pressure-sensitive technology.
