Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge handset is definitely a suitable adversary for the premium Huawei Nexus 6P. These two have been summoned to contest to see which one has the better specs, hardware, design etc.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge vs Huawei Nexus 6P

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge rolled out with a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and 576 ppi. Also this smartphone is equipped with a dual-curved screen, which makes it stand out.

Samsung included a 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa-core processor under the hood of the S6 Edge device, it has 4 cores running at 1.5GHz and 4 cores running at 2.1GHz.

As for the memory variants, the Galaxy S6 Edge comes in 32/64 and 128 GB version coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Color wise, the S6 Edge can be found in Black Sapphire, White Pearl, Gold Platinum and Green Emerald, the Galaxy S6 Edge is definitely a foxy device and it feels really nice to hold. As for the shooters, it comes equipped with a 16MP ISOCELL sensor plus autofocus, LED Flash, Live HDR and of course OIS, the front-facing camera unit is a 5MP one, which is great for selfies.  Battery wise, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a non-detachable 2600mAh battery unit that also offers wireless charging.

The S6 Edge also offers the Samsung Pay feature, a heart rate monitor, IR Blaster and as far as OS, it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. If you’re interested in the 32 GB version, you can get it for $675 (contract free).

Moving on to the Nexus 6P, this one is also a stunner as it has a pretty sturdy feel to it and it is all metal, it comes in Aluminum, Graphite, Matte Gold as well as Frost hues.

The Nexus 6P sports an AMOLED QHD display which measures 5.7-inches, having a resolution of 2560×1440 and 518 ppi. Huawei incorporated the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset under the hood. It also comes with 4 cores running at 1.55GHz and 4 cores running at 2.0GHz. As far as internal storage, the Nexus 6P has the 32/ 64 and 128 GB variants paired with 3 GB of RAM.

The camera incorporated in the Nexus 6P is a 12.3 MP one, and it also has the laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash, but sadly no OIS. The front-facing camera is an 8 MP one. The Nexus 6P has a 3450mAh non-detachable battery that also has the fast charging option, due to the Type-C connector, you’ll love this device as it has dual stereo speakers which are ideal for ardent game players. Of course, the fact that the Nexus 6P runs Android M is undoubtedly a big plus for some potential buyers. For the 32 GB version of the smartphone, you’ll have to pay $500.
