OnePlus is a Chinese company that has been founded in December 2013, but they’ve become one of those companies that had a successful debut, by bringing some pretty good smartphones. Today we’re going to talk about two devices that were released in 2015: OnePlus X and OnePlus 2.
The OnePlus X measures 140x69x6.9mm and weights 160 grams, featuring a fire-backed Ceramic back available in two variants of colors: Onyx black or Champagne White. On the other hand, the OnePlus 2 is thicker and heavier, as it measures 151.8×74.9×9.9mm and weights 175 grams, but it’s made of a plastic material with a fine texture, which is known under name of Sandstone Black.
The OnePlus X comes with a 5-inch AMOLED display that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The OnePlus 2 features a bigger IPS LCD display of 5.5-inches that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The OnePlus X has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, which is powered by a quad-core Krait 400 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, an Adreno 330 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 2 comes with a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset, supporting an octa-core processor formed from a quad-core Cortex A57 processor clocked at 1.82GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.56GHz and which is backed by an Adreno 430 graphics card. The OnePlus 2 was released in two variants of RAM, of 3GB and 4GB.
The OnePlus X features an internal storage of 16GB, but it also supports a microSD card up to 128GB. The OnePlus 2 was released in two internal storage variants of 16GB and 64GB, but it doesn’t have a card slot.
The two devices sport a primary camera of 13MP that feature geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, laser autofocus, panorama, HDR and more. When it comes to the secondary cameras, the OnePlus X has a better one of 8MP, while the OnePlus 2 has only a 5MP shooter.
The One Plus X and OnePlus 2 devices come with non-removable batteries. The OnePlus X has a weaker battery of only 2525 mAh, while the OnePlus 2 has a more powerful one of 3300 mAh.
