A new WhatsApp version has been released for BlackBerry 10 OS devices. We agree that this operating system is not updated as often as the Android or iOS, but this is something normal, as the two mentioned operating systems are way more popular than the OS developed by BlackBerry.

The new WhatsApp comes with some new features which include: support for web link previews in messages, support for additional web client features and updated contact information. The new WhatsApp version also comes with fixes for automated nightly backup that could start in the middle of a Voice Call.

WhatsApp also comes with performance improvements and it also fixes some bugs that were reported by the users or found by the developers. Keep in mind that the WhatsApp is currently in BETA phase, which means that there are high chances that you will find some bugs and other issues. If you find any, please report them so that the developers can fix them before they release the next stable version of WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10.

WhatsApp How To Install On Your BlackBerry 10 Device

In order to download the latest WhatsApp BETA version for BlackBerry 10, you will need to register to the BlackBerry Beta Zone. Once you have registered here, you will be able to download the WhatsApp BETA version to your BlackBerry 10 device. Keep in mind that the installation file has around 20.8MB, so make sure to have enough space before you download it to your device.

It seems that the developers of WhatsApp have understood that they need also to update the less-popular mobile operating system. We agree that there are not so many people that are still using BlackBerry 10 devices, but they should still support this operating system.
