Google has released two outstanding devices, the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P. The latter is Google’s flagship device, but Apple is also bringing in the big guns as it flashes its iPhone 6s. If you’re considering one or the other, but are still having doubts, see which one comes out on top from this face-off down below.

Display, design, processors & storage options

Both devices sport aluminum bodies and each one comes in four distinct color options. The iPhone 6s comes in Space Grey, Gold, Rose Gold and Silver while the Nexus 6P comes in Aluminum, Graphite, Frost and Gold (solely in Japan). The iPhone 6s is a 4.7-inch device while Nexus 6P is a 5.7-inch one.

Moving on to the display, the Nexus 6P has a resolution of is 2560×1440 and 518 ppi whereas the iPhone 6s has a resolution of just 1334×750 and 326 ppi. Worth mentioning is the fact that under the hood, the iPhone 6s packs an A9 chip and an M9 motion coprocessor while the Nexus 6P comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and Adreno 430 GPU.

There is also a notable difference as far as storage options. Apple’s device has 16, 64 and 128 GB paired with 2 GB of RAM while the Nexus device has 32, 64 and 128GB and it is coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Camera units, Battery, Connectivity

The iPhone 6s has a 5MP front facing shooter while the Nexus 6P has an 8MP front camera. For the back end shooter, the one added in the iPhone 6s is a 12MP one whereas Nexus 6P rocks a 12.3MP camera unit and both come with the 4K video recording.

The iPhone 6s comes equipped with a 1715 mAh battery while the Nexus 6P has an outstanding 3450 mAh battery. This one is said to last 12 hours of varied usage.

Connectivity wise, both devices support Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.

To wrap it up, the  Nexus 6P does pack a bundle of premium specs, but the iPhone 6s is not far behind as Apple also carefully included the 3D Touch element, which to be honest can be pretty handy. And we cannot leave out the fact that the Nexus 6P device does run on the new Android M, which is undoubtedly amazing.
